A Piano-Style Keyboard with a Light, Comfortable Touch

The NP-15 features 61 full-size, box-style keys that resemble those of an acoustic piano, but with a noticeably lighter action.

This makes the keyboard particularly approachable for beginners who may find traditional weighted piano keys more demanding. Its touch-sensitive design also responds to the strength of your playing, allowing you to create softer or more powerful performances naturally.

With four touch-response settings, you can adjust the keyboard to suit your playing style and experience.

Beautiful Yamaha Concert Grand Piano Sound

At the heart of the NP-15 is Yamaha's sampled CFIIIS concert grand piano sound, offering clear treble notes, resonant bass and expressive musical character.

Yamaha's AWM Stereo Sampling technology helps recreate the richness and detail of an acoustic piano, while Damper Resonance adds further realism when using the sustain function.

Alongside its piano sounds, the NP-15 includes 15 instrument Voices, giving you additional musical variety without overwhelming you with unnecessary controls.

Simple Controls, More Enjoyable Playing

The Piaggero range is designed to make playing music straightforward and enjoyable.

The NP-15 features a clean, minimalist control layout that keeps the focus on the music rather than complicated menus.

Choose from six reverb types to add depth to your sound, use the Dual function to layer two instrument Voices, or activate Sound Boost for greater presence.

There's also a built-in metronome, 15 Voice Demo Songs and 10 preset Piano Songs to help inspire your practice sessions.

Connect with Yamaha Smart Pianist

The NP-15 is compatible with Yamaha's Smart Pianist app, allowing you to access additional instrument controls through a compatible smart device.

The app provides an intuitive way to manage settings and explore musical features, including score display functionality.

USB-to-Host connectivity supports both MIDI and audio, opening up further possibilities for learning, recording and music creation.

You can also use Yamaha's Rec'n'Share app with a compatible device to capture performances with audio and video, making it easier to share your music with friends and family.

Lightweight, Portable and Ready to Play

Weighing approximately 5.2kg, the Yamaha NP-15 is easy to move around the home, take to lessons or use wherever inspiration strikes.

Its compact 61-key design is particularly practical for smaller rooms, bedrooms and home practice spaces.

The keyboard features built-in stereo speakers and can be powered using the included AC adaptor or six AA batteries, giving you the freedom to play away from a mains socket.

A headphone connection also allows you to practise privately without disturbing others.

Who Is the Yamaha NP-15B For?

The Yamaha NP-15B is an excellent choice for beginners, younger students, casual piano players and anyone wanting an uncomplicated instrument with authentic Yamaha piano sounds.

It's particularly suitable for home practice, learning basic piano technique or enjoying music in a smaller living space.
