An Authentic Piano-Playing Experience

The DGX-670 features Yamaha's 88-key Graded Hammer Standard keyboard, designed to recreate the feel of an acoustic piano. The keys have a heavier response in the lower register and a lighter touch towards the higher notes, helping players develop expressive control and good piano technique.

Five touch-response settings allow you to adjust the keyboard's sensitivity to suit your playing style.

The Sound of Yamaha's CFX Concert Grand

The DGX-670 features a piano voice sampled from Yamaha's flagship CFX concert grand piano, delivering a rich, expressive sound with sparkling high notes and a powerful bass response.

Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) recreates the complex resonances of an acoustic grand piano, while key-off samples and Smooth Release add further realism.

With 256-note polyphony, the DGX-670 can handle demanding performances, layered sounds and detailed accompaniment arrangements.

Your Own Backing Band with 263 Accompaniment Styles

One of the DGX-670's standout features is its automatic accompaniment system.

Choose from 263 styles covering a wide range of musical genres, and the instrument creates a musical backing that responds to the chords you play.

Each style offers four main variations, giving you control over the energy and arrangement of your performance.

The DGX-670 also includes:

• Adaptive Style: Automatically adjusts the accompaniment's intensity in response to your playing.
• Simple Style: Provides a more understated backing arrangement.
• Unison & Accent: Adds coordinated instrumental phrases and rhythmic accents to your performance.

These features make the DGX-670 especially appealing to players who enjoy arranging songs, experimenting with different genres or performing independently.

Explore 630 Instrument and Drum Voices

Beyond its impressive acoustic piano sound, the DGX-670 offers 601 instrument voices and 29 drum and sound-effect kits.

Explore electric pianos, organs, strings, guitars, brass, synthesizers and many other sounds.

Yamaha's Super Articulation voices introduce expressive playing characteristics associated with acoustic instruments, helping performances sound more natural and detailed.

Dual mode lets you layer two sounds together, while Split mode allows different voices to be played with your left and right hands.

Bluetooth Audio and Music Playback

With built-in Bluetooth audio, you can stream music from a compatible smartphone or tablet through the DGX-670's speaker system.

Play along with your favourite recordings, practise alongside backing tracks or simply enjoy listening to music.

The instrument also supports USB audio playback, with useful functions including Vocal Cancel, Time Stretch and Pitch Shift.

Sing Along with Microphone Connectivity

Connect a microphone and enjoy singing while you play.

The DGX-670 can display compatible song lyrics on its colour screen, making it a versatile choice for home entertainment and karaoke.

Vocal Cancel can also reduce the lead vocal in suitable audio recordings.

Record Your Musical Ideas

The DGX-670 includes a 16-track MIDI recording system, allowing you to build arrangements and capture individual musical parts.

You can also record performances as stereo WAV audio files directly to a USB flash drive, making it easier to save and share your music.

A 4.3-inch colour display provides access to the instrument's functions, with score viewing, song lyrics and other useful information available on screen.
