The CLP-800 Series uses a newly developed Yamaha tone-generator chip with greater processing power, allowing it to produce the most detailed and beautiful piano voices Yamaha has ever offered. It includes the sounds of two famed concert grands: the CFX, Yamaha’s flagship instrument, and the Bösendorfer Imperial, celebrated for its distinctive Viennese character.

The CLP-865GP also includes the voices of two fortepianos—the early forerunners of today’s piano—giving you access to the sound world of composers like Mozart and Chopin.

The CLP-800 Series pianos deliver richer, more natural resonance than ever, powered by a new tone generator chip and advanced Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) technology. VRM simulates the complex sympathetic vibrations that occur when string tones interact with the soundboard and other strings, responding dynamically to the timing and intensity of your keystrokes and pedaling.

The gently curved form of the CLP-865GP captures the warmth and sophistication of a traditional grand piano, turning any room into an elegant performance space. Its grand piano-style lid can be opened to a single position for an added touch of authenticity.

BINAURAL SAMPLING

Extended headphone use can often lead to ear fatigue—but binaural sampling offers a solution. This technique uses specialized microphones placed on a mannequin’s head at ear level to capture sound exactly as a pianist would hear it in real life. The result is a headphone experience that feels as if you’re sitting at a grand piano, so natural and immersive that you may forget you’re even wearing headphones, no matter how long you play.

BLUETOOTH® CONNECTIVITY
