Description

The Roland FP-E50 brings together the expressive feel of a quality digital piano with the creative freedom of a modern performance keyboard. Its 88-note PHA-4 Standard keyboard and SuperNATURAL Piano technology provide an authentic foundation for piano playing, while Roland's ZEN-Core sound engine opens up a huge selection of additional instruments for exploring virtually any musical style.

Where the FP-E50 really comes into its own is versatility. Automatic accompaniment lets you build full arrangements around your playing, while microphone connectivity, vocal effects, recording facilities and extensive sound controls make it equally useful for practice, songwriting, home performance and entertainment.

Built-in speakers make it ready to play without additional equipment, while Bluetooth and comprehensive connectivity allow the FP-E50 to become the centre of a much wider musical setup.

Who Is This For?

The FP-E50 is an excellent choice for players who want the feel and response of an 88-note digital piano but don't want to be restricted to traditional piano playing.

It particularly suits musicians who enjoy experimenting with different sounds, playing with automatic backing, singing while they perform or developing complete musical arrangements. It can work equally well as a sophisticated home piano, songwriting instrument or versatile performance keyboard.

For someone primarily looking for an authentic piano experience there are simpler instruments within Roland's FP range, but if creativity and versatility are important, the FP-E50 offers considerably more to explore.

Authentic Roland Piano Experience

At the heart of the FP-E50 is Roland's PHA-4 Standard keyboard, giving all 88 notes a progressive hammer action alongside escapement and Ivory Feel key surfaces.

This is paired with Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine, providing the detailed tonal response and dynamic variation required for expressive piano playing. Rather than feeling like an arranger keyboard that happens to include piano sounds, the FP-E50 starts with a proper digital piano foundation.

A Huge Palette of Sounds

Beyond acoustic piano, the FP-E50 incorporates Roland's powerful ZEN-Core technology and a substantial collection of instrument sounds.

Electric pianos, organs, strings, synthesizers and many other sounds give players considerably more scope for arranging, performing and experimenting with different musical styles.

Automatic Accompaniment & Performance

The FP-E50 can turn solo playing into a much fuller musical performance through its automatic accompaniment features.

Choose a musical style and the instrument can generate backing that follows your playing, with controls for variations and other accompaniment functions. It's a particularly useful feature for solo performers, songwriters and players who simply enjoy making music with the feel of a complete band behind them.

Built for Creativity

The FP-E50 isn't limited to what you play with your hands. Connect a microphone and the instrument provides vocal processing alongside its extensive keyboard capabilities, opening up another dimension for singers and performers.

Recording functions also make it easy to capture performances and musical ideas, while scenes provide a convenient way to organise combinations of sounds and settings.

Bluetooth & Modern Connectivity

Bluetooth makes it easy to incorporate phones and tablets into everyday playing. Stream music through the FP-E50's speaker system and play along, or use Bluetooth MIDI with compatible music applications.

USB, audio and pedal connectivity provide plenty of scope for expanding the instrument further, whether it's being used for home practice, recording or performance.
