Description

The Mooer MSC31 Pro Blue Burst combines familiar double-cutaway styling with a versatile HSS pickup configuration and an upgraded specification designed for players who want plenty of tonal range from one electric guitar.

Its Poplar body features a flame maple top beneath the striking Blue Burst gloss finish, while the bolt-on maple neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard. A 25.5" scale, 12" radius and 22 nickel silver frets provide familiar modern playing dimensions.

Mooer's HSS pickup arrangement combines two single coils with a bridge humbucker, backed up by five-way switching and a dedicated coil split. Together with the MTB-1 two-point tremolo, the MSC31 Pro offers a flexible platform for everything from cleaner sounds through to higher-gain rock tones.

Who Is This For?

The MSC31 Pro is an excellent choice for players looking for a versatile HSS electric guitar with a more distinctive specification and appearance than a straightforward entry-level instrument.

The combination of single coils, bridge humbucker and coil split makes it particularly useful for musicians moving between different styles, while the two-point tremolo provides plenty of scope for expressive playing.

At £349, it also makes an interesting alternative for players who want a well-equipped contemporary guitar without immediately moving into a substantially higher price bracket.

Versatile HSS Pickups with Coil Split

The MSC31 Pro features Mooer's MSC-1N neck and MSC-1M middle single coils alongside the more powerful MHB-1B bridge humbucker.

A five-way pickup selector provides the familiar HSS combinations, while a dedicated coil-split switch expands the bridge pickup's tonal possibilities. This gives the guitar plenty of flexibility for cleaner rhythm work, blues and pop through to fuller rock and higher-gain sounds.

Flame Maple Top & Blue Burst Finish

A flame maple top gives the MSC31 Pro a distinctive visual upgrade over a conventional solid-finish Poplar body.

The Blue Burst gloss finish emphasises the figuring of the top, while the black hardware gives this version a more contemporary appearance. It's a particularly striking combination without losing the familiar character of the classic double-cutaway design.

Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The bolt-on maple neck uses a Standard C profile with a smooth satin finish and is paired with a rosewood fingerboard.

Its 25.5" scale, 12" radius and 22 nickel silver frets provide familiar dimensions for both rhythm and lead playing, with a bone nut and dual-action steel truss rod completing the neck specification.

Two-Point Tremolo

Mooer's MTB-1 two-point tremolo provides a more contemporary take on the traditional tremolo system, allowing expressive pitch effects while retaining a clean and straightforward bridge design.
