Description

The Roland RP107 brings genuine piano feel, expressive sound and a traditional home-piano design together at an accessible price.

Designed particularly with beginners and developing players in mind, it uses Roland's acclaimed SuperNATURAL Piano technology together with the same 88-note PHA-4 Standard weighted keyboard found in a number of higher-priced Roland instruments.

Its Contemporary Black cabinet provides the familiar appearance of an upright piano while remaining compact enough for the modern home. An integrated three-pedal system, sliding keyboard cover and music rest make it a complete home instrument from the outset.

Bluetooth Audio and MIDI, Roland Piano App compatibility and Headphones 3D Ambience add modern practice and learning features without distracting from the RP107's primary purpose: being a proper piano to learn and progress on.

Who Is This For?

The Roland RP107 is an excellent first home piano for beginners and families who want to start with a properly weighted 88-note instrument rather than something they'll quickly outgrow.

The PHA-4 Standard keyboard provides the weighted response needed to develop good piano technique, while the integrated three-pedal system supports more advanced playing as the pianist progresses.

It's also a good option for returning players who prefer the familiar appearance and proportions of a traditional upright-style piano but still want the convenience of Bluetooth, headphones and modern learning features.

SuperNATURAL Piano Sound

Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano technology combines sampling and modelling to reproduce the expressive characteristics of an acoustic piano.

The sound responds naturally to changes in playing touch and dynamics, helping developing pianists learn to control expression rather than simply playing the correct notes.

With 256-note maximum polyphony, the RP107 also has plenty of capacity for more demanding pieces as playing develops.

PHA-4 Standard Weighted Keyboard

The RP107 uses Roland's 88-note PHA-4 Standard keyboard with escapement and Ivory Feel surfaces.

Its weighted hammer action provides the resistance and response expected from a piano keyboard, helping beginners establish the correct technique from the start while offering the control required by more experienced players.

The integrated pedal system provides damper, soft and sostenuto functions, with continuous detection available from the damper and soft pedals.

Traditional Style, Practical Size

Where the F107 takes a distinctly contemporary approach, the RP107 provides the more familiar appearance of a traditional upright-style home piano.

Its clean Contemporary Black cabinet measures 1,378 mm wide and 410 mm deep, giving it the presence of a permanent home instrument without approaching the dimensions of an acoustic upright.

An integrated sliding cover protects the keyboard when it's not being played, while the fixed music rest provides a convenient position for sheet music or a compatible mobile device.

Bluetooth, USB & Roland Piano App

Bluetooth Audio allows music and educational content from a compatible smartphone or tablet to play through the RP107's speaker system, making it easy to practise alongside songs, backing tracks and online lessons.

Bluetooth MIDI provides wireless communication with compatible music applications.

The Roland Piano App expands the RP107 further, providing convenient access to sounds, metronome settings, recording and learning features from a compatible smartphone or tablet.

USB connections are also provided for computers and compatible flash storage devices.

Skoove Online Piano Lessons

Bluetooth MIDI also makes the RP107 a natural partner for interactive learning platforms such as Skoove.

Skoove provides structured lessons and practice material across different playing levels, making it particularly useful for beginners and returning pianists looking for additional guidance between lessons.

Designed for Learning

The RP107 includes 377 internal songs alongside a metronome and recording facilities to support regular practice.

Twin Piano divides the keyboard into two matching pitch ranges, allowing teacher and student to sit alongside one another and play within the same register.

For quiet practice, Roland's Headphones 3D Ambience creates a more spacious listening experience through headphones. Two headphone connections are provided, making them useful for lessons and shared practice.
