Who Is This For?

The Roland GO is particularly well suited to beginners looking for an approachable first instrument, students with limited space and players who want a portable keyboard with expressive piano sounds.

Its full-size keys provide a useful foundation for developing keyboard technique, while Bluetooth connectivity makes it easy to combine traditional practice with online tutorials and interactive learning.

The 61-key layout is ideal for many beginner pieces, popular songs and everyday practice. Players following more advanced classical piano studies may eventually prefer an 88-key weighted-action digital piano.

Learn Piano with Your Smartphone

One of the GO's biggest advantages is how easily it works alongside your smartphone or tablet.

Bluetooth audio allows you to stream songs, tutorial videos and online lessons through the instrument's speakers, making it easy to listen and play along without additional audio equipment.

Bluetooth MIDI also allows the keyboard to communicate wirelessly with compatible educational and music applications, giving you more ways to develop your playing skills.

Whether you're following an online lesson, practising a favourite song or experimenting with music apps, the GO makes digital learning straightforward and enjoyable.

61 Full-Size Keys with Expressive Touch

The GO features 61 standard-size keys with Ivory Feel surfaces and adjustable touch sensitivity.

Unlike many compact keyboards with miniature keys, its full-size layout provides familiar spacing for developing finger positioning, coordination and playing technique.

The keyboard responds to how firmly you play, allowing you to explore dynamics and musical expression. Three touch-response settings and a fixed-touch option let you adjust the feel to suit your preferences.

The keys are touch-sensitive rather than weighted hammer-action, helping keep the instrument lightweight and portable.

Authentic Roland Piano Sounds

Despite its compact dimensions, the GO benefits from Roland's experience in digital piano sound design.

Its expressive acoustic piano tones respond naturally to your playing, helping beginners develop control over dynamics and musical phrasing.

Alongside 10 piano sounds, there are seven electric pianos, seven organs and 16 additional sounds, including drum and sound-effect sets.

With 128-note maximum polyphony, the GO provides plenty of musical flexibility for everyday practice and performance.

Portable Design with Battery Operation

Weighing approximately 3.9kg, the GO is easy to move between rooms, take to lessons or transport for informal music-making.

Its compact footprint makes it especially useful for smaller homes, bedrooms and student accommodation where a traditional piano may not be practical.

The supplied AC adaptor provides convenient everyday power, while six AA batteries allow you to play away from a mains socket.

Battery life is approximately four hours with alkaline batteries or six hours with rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, depending on usage.

Built-In Speakers and Headphone Practice

The integrated stereo speaker system provides clear sound without requiring a separate amplifier.

Two speakers, powered by 2.5W amplification each, make it easy to enjoy the instrument immediately.

For quieter practice, connect headphones through the dedicated output and continue playing without disturbing others.

An auxiliary input is also provided for connecting compatible external audio devices.

Helpful Features for Developing Musicians

The GO includes practical tools to support regular learning and musical development.

A built-in metronome helps improve timing and rhythm, while transpose and octave-shift functions offer flexibility when exploring different songs.

The onboard MIDI recorder lets you capture your performances and listen back, helping you recognise progress and identify areas for improvement.

These features make the GO a useful companion as your confidence and musical ability develop.
