Everyone at The Music Depot cares very passionately and deeply about music and is aware of the good it can provide to individuals and to communities. The Music Depot team are also keen to support the South West region in any way it can during what are difficult times for many. This is why we’ve started a new charitable initiative whose goal is to promote music in the region and show that Music really does matter in the South West.

Our goals for Music Matters In The South West include:

• Promoting music across the region in order to inspire people and to instil a higher take-up of music as a career or as a hobby.
• To provide availability of music and the learning of a musical instrument to individuals or communities that otherwise might not have access
• To promote social inclusion and to reduce isolation through music
• To work with local music communities and institutions and help better connect people with music education and therapy across the region
• To organize local music workshops and events that help people engage further with music and to foster and nurture local talent.
• Raising money to fund music instruments, equipment and resources towards schools and also those most in need.
