Body Shape & Projection

Using our ‘square-shouldered’ dreadnought body shape, the Saturn delivers everything a guitar should be. Originally designed to be heard clearly within a larger ensemble, the dreadnought shape ensures the Saturn offers all the projection and volume you could ever need, along with the reassuring feel of that classic guitar shape in your hands.

Tonewoods & Finish

The Naked Saturn Electro features an Engelmann Spruce top, paired with Indonesian Mahogany back and sides, all carefully crafted from solid wood and finished with a soft satin sheen. One of the key advantages of a satin finish is that it allows the solid tonewood to move and resonate more freely, without the restriction of heavy lacquer layers.

True to its ‘Naked’ name, the guitar reveals its natural character, allowing the woods to display their true colours and subtly beautiful grain patterns – nature’s artistry on full display.

Overall Tone & Build Quality

The combination of Spruce and Mahogany has long been a tradition in acoustic guitar design, and for good reason. The brighter tone of the Spruce is gently balanced by the warmer, mellower character of Mahogany, creating a well-rounded sound across the tonal spectrum. This balance is further enhanced by the mid-range focus of the Saturn’s dreadnought body shape. As with all Naked models, the fingerboard, bridge and bridge pins are crafted from figured, solid Ebony.

Overall, you can expect a vibrant, exciting and consistently dynamic tone, with the Naked body proudly bearing the marks of every musical adventure.

Electronics

Amplifying the Naked Saturn Electro is straightforward, thanks to the onboard Fishman Presys 1 preamp system and undersaddle piezo pickup. This elegant setup is simple to use, featuring an easy-to-read built-in tuner, EQ contour control, phase switch (to help manage stage feedback), and a volume control. The output jack is neatly integrated into the strap button at the base of the guitar, while the battery compartment is located separately for convenient access.
